What Sets Us Apart
One of the things that distinguishes Biesinger and Kofford from other CPA firms is that we really strive to be proactive and accessible. Biesinger and Kofford tries to make friends with their clients and really look out for their interests. It’s not just prepare the tax return but take a look at the big picture and see what can we do to help the client now, what can we do to help them in the future. So, it is more proactive. We have the interest of the client at heart.
Most of our clients are with us for a long long time. So, over the years we develop a relationship with them, understand their business, we talk with them, you know, on a casual basis and as friends so we get to know them well, so understanding their business, and we help them network and meet other clients of ours to bring value and help them build their business.
Brian is very accessible, if I wanted to get ahold of him, I call him on my cell phone, on his mobile, and he’s there. I email him and typically he responds quickly. Or text him, or when I come into the office…I’m pointed into the right direction right away. I feel I am a priority to him. The partners are very accessible and the company is very accessible to us.I think some of the things that make Biesinger and Kofford stand out compared to other CPA offices is they are really responsive and involved with their clients.
Over the years, he has always recommended things to me. He had me set up an S-Corporation to run some of my personal expenses through. And, I have three different holding companies personally that hold my interests in different things so he helps me consolidate those to make sure that they are clean and accurate.
I feel like they are very competent when it comes to a wide range of accounting issues that we deal with on a day to day basis. You know whether its quarterly taxes, individual business, like I said, dealing with an IRS audit; they have always known the answer or go out and find it and get back to me with an answer that I need to hear.
Ken seems to have the answers for most of my questions, and that is very comforting to me to know that if I have any sort of tax question, payroll question, or financial question, he is usually going to be a one stop resource for me, which is really nice. And, particularly when it comes to taxes. So, I know Ken well enough to know that he is staying within the ethical bounds of what he can do and that is huge for me to know that I am getting every tax break that I can and that is something I really value.
